TLAs for the sake of TLAs... - robkelk - 01-08-2013

Some days you have to wonder why someone would bother inventing a Three-Letter Abbreviation... for me, this was Tuesday. This Tuesday.

From the notes about http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/msl/m ... 16565.html]today's NASA Image of the Day:
Quote:This image from the Mars Hand Lens Imager (MAHLI) on NASA's Mars rover Curiosity shows the patch of rock cleaned by the first use of the rover's Dust Removal Tool (DRT).

The tool is a motorized, wire-bristle brush on the turret at the end of the rover's arm.
Most of us call things like that "brooms"...

them. Adversaries remain citizens of the same state, common subjects of
the same sovereign, servants of the same law."
