But at no point did the article say anything about how to celebrate it... But, hey, it's data privacy.

Encrypting some files to celebrate the day.
I've been aiming to suggest the encrypting ever since this thread was started, today I got the time and promptly came across my second suggestion.
Don't cross into the United States with any "smart" electronics, a judge ruled on the 25th that any border agent can take it without probable cause.

No change there - I haven't had any right to bring electronics into the States since just after 9/11 - except that US citizens are also being treated this way now.
