Budget Gaming PC - ECSNorway - 10-17-2014 Looking to put something together on a budget, to keep up with current MMOs and get ready for City of Titans and/or the rumored CoH re-release. I'm looking at this as a base (mobo + CPU)http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDeal ... bo.1912659 I would then of course need a SATA HDD (no big problem there), RAM, and a video card. Recommendations on video card (under $200, please) are welcome. -- Sucrose Octanitrate. Proof positive that with sufficient motivation, you can make anything explode. - Dartz - 10-17-2014 AMD A10 APU's have a fairly competent GPU built into them.... it certainly exceeded my expectations. This is a system I built not too long ago. It's not ideal for gaming, but it's quiet running, and it'll run stuff like Borderlands 2 quite happily. It'll probably take an MMO which tends not to be as intence. It likes fast RAM. 2400Mhz makes a lot of difference. You might want to go with an A10 7850, however. It's a slightly better processor. ________________________________ --m(^0^)m-- Wot, no sig? |
