IJN Musashi located - robkelk - 03-08-2015 Paul Allen has located the wreck of the IJN Musashi, one of the two largest battleships ever built. overview: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/03/04 ... attleship/ Details: http://www.paulallen.com/Interests/Expl ... Expedition I can't tell from the images on Paul Allen's site whether the Musashi is in one piece. It's still to early to know what's going to come of this discovery - but I'm hoping the wreck becomes a memorial to the 1000+ crew who went down with the ship. -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them. Was there report of a massive explosion when she sank like what happened to Yamato? If so, the Big M would have broken up like the Big Y did. If not, she may have sunk relatively intact. - robkelk - 03-09-2015 There's some debate as to what actually happened at the time... -- Rob Kelk "Governments have no right to question the loyalty of those who oppose them.
