Did you know it's Asteroid Day? I didn't... and there doesn't appear to be any organized events happening for it in my part of the world, either.

Interestingly, my parental unit actually spent the day at a class about diverting asteroids; so I guess it depends on how you define organized event.
Also from what she said over dinner, there were organized events somewhere... just probably not well publicized 

Also, apparently Asteroid Day is when the Council on Global Defense meets (anually or bi annual).
