As long as Congress can't do anything, they can't repeal NAFTA - which is good for most border states and most states that have manufacturing-based economies.

Why is it that 'Governent shutdown' is even a thing?
'Government shutdown' in most civilised places is usually followed by 'Government execution'.
To the point that most governments have ways of riding through clusterfucks and keeping the state running inspite of itself

Which sounds fair to me. They weren't the ones who decided to stop working.
