Hmm. In a more meta sense, Might this give Doug (via bob making a skill roll) a sudden insight into a way to apply an existing song/effect in a new/unusuall way to solve a problem? Of course, if his magic feels he's abused it, he probably gets -5 to all magic related skill checks for the rest of the cool-off.
