on my computer screen, that is. Is this something associated with the board software, or do I have to do a deep dive on my chrome settings and anti everything programs?

- Go to your control panel (the "User CP" link)
- Under "Your Profile", select "Edit Options"
- Under "Other Options", check whether "Should the snowflakes be displayed?" is checked.

It's a board plug-in that I turn on every year for the Christmas season. As Rob has pointed out, users have the ability to disable it, which is the reason I chose this particular snow plug-in over several others that are available.

Which is why I answered the way that I did - you could go and check whether you had an infection or not.
