Just noticed that the pepperoni I bought yesterday is, according to the label, made with "Pork and Natural Ingredients".
Where are they getting their pigs from, that they have to phrase it that way?

US slaughterhouses that the USDA FSIS hasn't had the budget to send an inspector to in years, let alone a surprise inspection, would be my guess. [sarcasm]But never fear, soon ICE will be picking up the slacl![/sarcasm]

There's nothing natural about pork anymore. It's basically just water, hormones, antibiotics, gelatine, pea fibres and pink.
