Rob sighed. "Mii, there's been so much going on in the last few months that some people would say forgetting a birthday is excusable. But that's a poor excuse. I really should have remembered."
"I don't mind, Rob," Mii said as the others brought two cakes out of the kitchen. Then she saw what was written on the cakes, and added, "Oh, that's different. I didn't realize that we'd forgotten two birthdays today, not just one."
Ruiko led Blossom's original residents in the well-wishes. "Happy Birthday, Mii! Happy Birthday, Rob!"
As far as we know, Mii Konori doesn't have a canon birthday in the A Certain... universe. The KanriKyara Project writers asked random.org for a number between 1 and 365 to be the day of the year that is her birthday for the purposes of our stories... and it came back with my birthday. Statistically, shared birthdays happen more often than not in a random group of 30 people, so we went with it. And what better day of the year to post this drabble than the shared birthday? --Rob
