ezBoard -> Yuku -> Inform - Bob Schroeck - 02-01-2011
This doesn't seem to be public news yet, but Yuku has been acquired by an outfit called Inform. I've gotten two messages about this in the last six weeks (this one, sent on Christmas Eve, which I missed the first time around, and then this one, sent 13 Janunary; these links should work for everyone, but if they don't, let me know and I'll post their contents as plaintext).
I don't yet know any more than what those messages have in them about what this means for the boards. If/when I do know anything I'll share it with you all right away.

Hmm...
Well, from what I can tell, Inform appears to be some sort of news agglomerator. I'm not sure why they would want Yuku, beyond simply expanding their customer base. I'd guess that we'll start seeing links and various sorts of 'integration' soonish. Best case, just another link up by the Facebook thing up on the top of the page, worst case, those annoying in-line text popup ads.
Also, the 'about us' page you linked lists a VP for a Yuku division, so Yuku will probably be kept somewhat separated from the rest of Inform, hopefully.
