Iraq paper - katreus - 04-11-2006

For my Poli Sci class, we have to write a 10 page paper, the prompt of which is "what is at stake in this conflict and in what sense is the conflict in the Middle East* a conflict between traditional and modern forces? If those categories aren't a useful way of thinking about the conflict, why not?"
* Iraq basically.
I'm not actually done with it yet (9 pages atm...!), but I'm wondering if people would be interested in reading it and giving me comments when/if I post it up. Due to the nature of the prompt, it'll be fairly limited in terms of scope, but I'd be glad to engage in a discussion regarding the issues at stake.
In particular, I have a problem with not explaining what's in my head onto the paper. So, sometimes I think I clearly explain a point when to everyone else it's all gibberish.
Thanks to anyone willing to do this! [Image: wink.gif]

I'll read it. It's pretty much the same stuff I'm supposed to study, after all.
