Unexpected downtime? - OpMegs - 09-11-2008 Am I the only one currently unable to access both the CoH servers *and* the site itself? I didn't see any announcements before I went to bed last night. I have come to one conclusion. It is one of three causes: - Server maitenance that I missed the memo on, though that doesn't explain the SITE going down... - Issue 13 is gonna be GINORMOUS - The Large Hadron Collider has accidentally annihilated NCSoft's offices and servers.(WHAT HAS SCIENCE WROUGHT?!) --- "Oh, silver blade, forged in the depths of the beyond. Lay waste." - Sofaspud - 09-11-2008 I've actually had that happen to me a couple times, and last time I poked around a bit and noticed that the launcher process was running, even though it wasn't showing in the application list. Killing it forcibly fixed the problem. I suspect a hung process plus open connection == FAIL, but damfino how that would affect my browser as well.
