Y'know, the thing I keep forgetting about the STF? DON'T attack reccy other than to taunt him. He takes damage, he spawns a squntillion Banes.

He spawns them 2 at a time at every recharge, as well as around 10 when he is at 25%. With Mud Pots and Foot Stomp, I could usually keep them down to about 7
or 8 out at a time, so I was fine. Emet needs a Recluse helmet. Steph got the one when I did it with Amber.
As for OMGWTF-Eden, I'm in with Emet. Crystal Haet Smashing, Emet Lol at Lethal.
