"Player: retired"? - Bob Schroeck - 11-13-2009

Did I miss seeing an announcement somewhere, Wiregeek?

WG said he had some RL stuff to deal with for a while, so... yeah.

nope, no announcement.

I realized that it had been over 4 months since I logged into CoH at all, and that was just to update day job placement.

I'm over this mmo. Lasted longer than any other except for EQ, so a good run. Spud has my purps and cash if anyone is interested.

I was waiting to see if Wire made an announcement about his retirement before I said anything. Not to sound overly dramatic, but I kept hoping it would turn
out to be an elaborate prank or a bad dream. Big Grin

I'm gonna miss you in-game, man. It was an awesome run, though. Enjoy your retirement, clone-brother!

I'm writing up a totally rave review of this 'real life' thing...

Real life..I've heard of that..and have seen some trailers for it..but I can't say i'm impressed with its UI or controls so I think I'll have
to stay with CoX Smile

Hey Wire you better at least keep in contact on the boards here ^_^..if not I'll have to find some way to make a vodoo doll and like..make your life
miserable somehow lol.

The powersets for your characters in Real Life are sadly lacking, in my experience.

At least you almost never get a graphics crash. Although I'm having to make do with some external hardware accelleration, myself, to maintain max
resolution.

I understand that it's actually fairly common.
