Japanese Metas in WWII? - Last Free Human - 12-10-2014

I was browsing through my copy of IST and couldn't find any mention of Japanese metahumans in WWII, was there one I missed or did it end up getting trimmed for space?
Also, were there ever any write-ups for any of the named metas from WWII?

Thanks,

M

I believe that I completely overlooked the Pacific theatre, focusing on the whole Aryan ubermenschen thing; if I have the space I'll rectify that.

And no, no writeups to the best of my recollection.

I think there's one in Mixed Doubles, Shimpu(sp) or Kamikaze...one of the two.

Not my work, of course, but since I tried to account for all the other Supers supplements in the IST history they would count.

I just checked my Mixed Doubles PDF, and the wartime one used the "Shimpu" reading of the "divine wind" kanji. As continuity would have it, he made his battlefield debut in 1943, the same year as the Psycho Squad.

Page 109 of Weird War II has some advice on creating national supers.
