Was there ever an official write-up of John Bull or any of the other WWII metahumans on either side? If not, was there any backstory or details on them beyond the brief entries in the IST timeline?

None at all. They were simply namedrops, for GMs interested in those periods to design as they saw fit.

Thanks Bob. I finally convinced my players to try our a WWII - era Supers game setting (unknowingly set in the past of my IST campaign) and was planning on dropping in some of these fellows.
