That concept just broke me and boggled me at the same time.
And while I have no idea how well the mechanics work yet, the background looks good!

Another thought I just had: using the were- rules to create a combat buma - the kind that explodes from human form in combat. Thy only thing I'm not sure of is if they can reverse the transformation.

I don't think it was ever specified in Bubblegum Crisis; I suspect that if they could, it would be a factory operation, at least to grow new skin.
