A rare commentary on a song of the day...
This is a song that I just recently burnt to a compilation CD, so I've been listening to it a lot lately. Also recently, we finished the original uncensored season one of Sailor Moon, as I've noted extensively elsewhere. There is a scene in the last episode... The senshi have all sacrificed themselves. Usagi is alone, and has pushed past her grief and despair and is driving herself onward to do what must be done. And the camera watches her running pell-mell across the Arctic snows towards the gate to the Dark Kingdom.
"Center of the Universe" is the song for this moment.

I just noticed that I'd posted this in the wrong forum, so I've moved it here.
I was also intended to add a note about how I saw this as good background music for the Senshi's assault on the Dark Kingdom in the future Sailor Moon Step, but I forgot to do so... then again, I was in a hurry when I made the initial post.
