Here we go for the fourth time. This time i'm on a Buffy kick, and I've been having rather poor luck at finding anything engrossing to read, and given
the success of my previous Sailor Moon, Dragonball and Tenchi Muyo fic searchs, and given the the huge variety of experience and depth of knowledge of the
subject of fanfiction here (and buffy mentions aplenty), I was hoping for some more suggestions? What in your opinion are the best Buffyverse stories out
there?

Hm... for Xander-centric fic, are you looking for plain or Super!Xander? I ask only because there's an infinite amount of Super!Xander fic out there, so
it's easier to find & classify than more canonical Xanderfic.

Also, do a websearch on the Xanderzone, wherever it is now.

"Here's Your Accordion" by Drakensis is a decent Type 2 SI.
I am a little disappointed it hasn't updated in forever though. {Like I'm one to talk in re: IWATDP]

Self-insert fic is almost unknown in Buffyfandom. Xander's Everyman qualities usually lead to SuperXander fics in their place...

You could classify this as a second hand SI/crossover: Martian Manhunter. Veronica Mars gets put/merged into BtVS.

In particuler, his http://www.livejournal.com/tools/memori ... filter=all]I Am What I Am is an amazing piece, more so because he offers a thoroughly annotated version that covers a lot of his thoughts, intentions and sources while writing.
