Right-wing journalist attacked at left-wing demonstration, doesn't make news for days

To be fair there's a few factors involved that would explain the relative silence.

While the newspaper the journalist is working for is likely one of them, the lack of prominent, well known to the general public figures exhorting their supporters to inflict such harm upon journalists is also, as it makes it hard to connect this with other incidents and form a pattern that would make a good story.

That doesn't mean that the perpetrator should not at minimum be questioned regarding the matter.
