[OOC][Arc 5] Calling "Dibs"
[OOC][Arc 5] Calling "Dibs"
#1
Taking the long view and starting a thread where we can reserve settings that we want to play in once the main story's done and our SIs and their families are out exploring the Metacontinuity.

This is for settings that would be more trouble than it's worth to try to fit into the four-arc storyline (because they're set in alternate worlds, or alternate times, or otherwise don't fit well with the setting that we've already built), but that at least one of the writers thinks are still interesting enough to tell at least one story in.

Starting off: Rob calls dibs on Allison and Lillia. (Alternate world with alternate geography that's plot-relevant and technology that would be lost in what the existing displacees have already brought)

We can peg this for Marvel and DC universes. The multiverse setups in those continuities are just plain OP.

Yasuri Nanami is my number one waifu, if only because she would horribly murder all the others if they didn't shut up and toe the line.
"They did not care about all the other attempts wizards had made on the Lone Power through history; as far as a computer is concerned, there is no program that cannot be debugged, or at worst, rewritten."

"If our friendship depends on things like space and time, we've destroyed our own brotherhood! But overcome space, and all we have left is Here. Overcome time, and all we have left is Now. And in the middle of Here and Now, don't you think that we might see each other once or twice?"

Tentative dibs on Den-noh Coil, unless somebody wants it for the main story first - or thinks we can safely incorporate their version of augmented reality with any other version.

Already started writing this one: Godannar.

(Folks with wiki access, please check the discussion page and tell me what I missed... but not in this thread.)
