The Cursed Thread of 2019
RE: The Cursed Thread of 2019
Simply making that statement might have been enough temptation...

RIP Petty Officer 1st Class Bayroot Pakbara, from an infection contracted while he was part of the rescue operation of 12 boys and their soccer coach from a flooded cave last year.

What, that there won't be more?

Don't be stupid, of course there'll be more.

But will there be more that we'll care about?

I haven't cared about any of them. Not about their names, not about their careers, not about their work. And I've long accepted that just being alive caries a rather sizable risk of death.

Syd Mead's gone.

You had to ask.

I love the smell of rotaries in the morning. You know one time, I got to work early, before the rush hour. I walked through the empty carpark, I didn't see one bloody Prius or Golf. And that smell, you know that gasoline smell, the whole carpark, smelled like.... ....speed.

One day they're going to ban them.

"Who's Kelly Fraser?" This is... was Kelly Fraser:

Her family has said that she took her own life.

And she was in the middle of making her third album, too... Sad

RIP Jeremy Reitman, CEO of Reitman's.

Jazz legend, ‘Schoolhouse Rock!’ singer Jack Sheldon dead at 88

He passed away on the 27th, and is likely not the last delayed announcement we'll see.

well Bugger.  He went from slightly dead right past mostly dead to COMPLETELY dead.  And I didn't realise how much of my youth he'd affected till I read that article.  Sad
