But Ikea included pictures that fairly well covered that I should have at least 1 helper, and to put something soft under the assembly area

Indeed, though I confess my first thought was "that's an inconvenient spot for a cup holder," looking a the cable passthrough in the corner. I'd also like to note that I've had that model of fan and was initially impressed, but found it difficult to get apart to clean the blades and front grille for a second summer of quiet and effective service and it only lasted through half of the second year. Nowadays I just get the metal-frame box fans that can take the weight of a window sash in summer, are easy to balance in the right spot to blow against the side of the wood stove to circulate the air in winter. and cheap enough not to get upset about when the bearings start to die. Because the perversity of the universe tends toward a maximum, even the ones that are now eleven years old are just a little squeaky sometimes Tongue
