So, are the Republicans having some sort of competition?

One point they miss in the CBC coverage was this non-precious gem from @realDonaldTrump: "....My only question is, who is our bigger enemy, Jay Powel or Chairman Xi?"  Calling your own central bank chairman, Jerome Powell, an enemy is... unique.  Certainly not a new low for this man, but naturally the markets will have a negative reaction.

My retirement has been out of stocks and in the money market for a little over a year now.  Every time I start to develop a feeling of FOMO, shit like this goes down and I laugh at all the losers who still believe in a "fundamentally sound economy".  Sorry Rob.  When Black Friday comes, I'll stand down by the door -- and catch the grey men when they dive from the fourteenth floor.
