[OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
RE: [OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
Not really. The Google Fonts are all of a kind in each section.

So much for that idea... but I recall that neither of us use Chrome. It might be different in that browser.

RE: [OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
Nope. Doesn't work in Chrome, either. The fonts need to be either locally installed or embedded on the wiki.
RE: [OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
Doesn't look like there's any way to embed them on the wiki - the extension that I knew about that would make that happen is obsolete.

Ah, well. I'll leave the markup in place on the off-chance readers have the fonts installed.

We could always put up a page with links to download the fonts. Kinda like, "For the best experience in perusing our works, we strongly recommend installing these free and open-source fonts from this reputable and safe website..."

Two examples are enough for a group, right?

Characters who are ghosts, spirits, or other incorporeal beings can now be tagged with {{spirit}} - so far, we have Manami Kuroha and Nadeshiko Kinomoto.

If two examples are enough for a category, a half-dozen examples is even better, right? New tag {{Yamato Nadeshiko}}

Because somebody kinda-sorta hinted at it, I think... Extension:MultiBoilerplate is now active on the wiki. Special:Boilerplates has the list.

Found heights for Nao Okuda and Sumire Saito - fan art, but that had to have been based on something - so I added them to their writeups. which means that the only girl from Wakaba Girls who still doesn't have a height listed is Jun.

Redirects are a thing because some people and places have more than one name, or are described in non-obvious places, or because there's more than one way to romanize a Japanese name. (They do not exist to get around spelling errors.)

With Aeka, that should be flipped around. Pioneer officially came out and said that the romanization of "Ayeka" was strictly so that English speakers would have an easier time of pronouncing her name. Of course, now that Nihongo and its quirks are becoming more well known, this is less of an issue these days.

It's certainly something we can use on the TNB wiki - see the Sailor Senshi page for an example.

(And if anybody happens to have episode 150 at ready access - my copy is in storage - feel free to sort the Amazoness Quartet in the order that they were introduced.)

Of course we can use this in TNB. The mecha that Ruiko got for Christmas is roughly 9.1 m tall, which puts "Daisy" between Delphine and Dougram in this lineup... so, taller than the Arbalest and shorter than the RX-78-S "White Devil" Gundam.

Just stumbled on a potentially useful pool on Danbooru: Portrayed.

In this pool, characters are drawn in a more classical, posed style. And more often than not, these images tend to provide a sense of what kind of people the characters are.

Safebooru link, because there's a whole LOT of (artistic) nudes in the Danbooru version.

https://safebooru.donmai.us/pools/3550

EDIT: Already found a great one for Kinomoto Sakura:

You can search on the pool number and a series name, which removes the countless Touhou images... Smile

For example, the pool and A Certain Magical Index returns one hit. Don't know whether we want to use that image, though.

EDIT: The pool and Tenchi returns one very nice image... and then looking at what else the artist has done turns up another very nice image.

Yeah, that one of Aeka was how I found it in the first place. I was poking around for a less "busy" looking character profile picture of her.

EDIT:
Also,
Chii: "Hideki. Fighto."
https://safebooru.donmai.us/posts/1523656?q=pool%3A3550

Hideki: *Loses his goddamned mind*

EDIT2: I wouldn't be surprised if Chii does it on purpose at this point.

(Just don't tell Mahoro. Smile )

RE: [OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
Indeed.  Now that is one lady that Benjamin would certainly give the full-on gentleman's courtesy.  Because she's not only a refined lady, but also a total freakin' bad ass.

Lafiel: "I understand that there are appearances to keep up, but was that really necessary of him?"
Hotaru:  "You haven't gotten to know him yet.  Outside of our family circle, I can count on one hand the number of women he respects enough to do that and still have fingers left over."  *Chuckles*  "Also, you may want to be careful.  He's not one to poach on another man's territory, but if you get too close?  You and Jinto might wind up getting adopted some way or another."
Lafiel: "You can't possibly be serious."  *Sees Hotaru's growing smile.*  "...You are serious, aren't you?"
RE: [OOC][Info]Nothing Better Than This Wiki, part II
I went looking at https://schara.sunrockgo.com/ for stats for the folks at the Grand Imperial Theater. Two series out of three had nothing listed. Sakura Wars was the exception... so all of their characters have birthdays, blood types, and heights listed now, and all but Yoneda have ages listed as well.

Now... When did the Grand Imperial Theater show up in the Metacontinuity? It makes a difference for Kanna.
