If you look at tech news at all in the past decade you'll have seen companies bragging about this or that new process node, delivering ever-smaller measurements in nanometers for the transistors -- but how though?

Sometimes I can actually believe that we live not merely at the end of history but at the beginning of THE FUTURE! comic book science and all. Witness a young woman step upon the road to becoming a superhuman by the might of her own intelligence and scientific development! 
(Yes, a flashlight finger counts as superhuman. More useful in practical terms than laser eye-beams too, and if Iron Finger really needs lasers as an ally of justice, there's always the proposed armored up Mk4.)
Honestly though, the best part is her testing it with routine "pick up the thing" type tasks and being so happy at the result.
