The Register: Going underground: The Royal Mail's great London train squeeze

tl;dr: The Royal Mail operated an narrow-gauge electric train system to move mail under London from 1927 until 2003. The system still exists.

How does this apply to the Drunkard's Walk? Well, imagine a Borrible or two mailing themselves across town... without paying postage, of course.

Hm. Since my current plot has the Borribles of London needing to take refuge in the tunnels of Wandsworth... this could be very useful. Thanks!

It also seems like a way for the Warriors themselves to get around London without being noticed. Admittedly, with teleporters in the mix, it's likely redundant, but it seems like a good contingency plan.
