Y'know, you *do* have image rights to the wiki, too.

Anyway, added. Also added pictures for Discovery and Endeavour while I was at it.

The Cassini probe recently http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/03/14 ... enceladus/]made a close flyby of Enceladus. Apparently, the moon http://ars.userfriendly.org/cartoons/?id=20080316]tastes like chiken. (Okay, not really... but in Fenspace, who knows?)

Overly-cute acronym of the week: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/03/14 ... army_ploy/]COM-BAT, for a vaugely-bat-shaped flying robot being built by the US Army. I'm sure the Professor can do better...

Disney actually did a live-action sequel to this movie in 2014, with the generous assistance of the Cybers & filmed entirely on location. You can guess how *that* turned out.

(On a more meta note, Pixar probably shows us *exactly* what handwavium robots present & future are like in Wall-E.)

Handy Writer's Tool
I've been cleaning up a lot of cut-and-pasted spelling mistakes in the wiki... Here's one of my tools for making sure a word's spelled correctly: http://www.wordsmyth.net/live/home.php]Wordsmyth. Use the "spelled-like" option in the search box to find out how your word is really spelled. (Never mind the message about the function soon being restricted to registered users - that message has been there for years.)

Scary, ain't it? I've given some thought to a Planetes-esque team, subcontracting to various space agencies. Nothing more than a brief idea, plus a
few scenes where a "space garbage collector" finds an abandoned 'waved car on his regular haul to the photosphere. (The Sun: the Solar
System's best garbage disposal!)

By the way, if you've not watched "Planetes," I highly recommend it. The first disc, anyway, which is all I've managed to get ahold of. Good
hard sci-fi.

Actually, after looking at the image zoomed in, I think that _is_ Earth, heavily obscurred by junk markers. There're bits of blue, green, and browns
showing through the grey/white object markers
