[STORY/XOVER] Legend of Galactic Girls

#26
Oh, dear... fine, have a teaser:

"And if one of us decides to tell her anyway?"

"Let me put it this way, Ms. Li: The story archive Mr. Schroeck gave us says you people know I'm bad at memory-deletion magic. But I'm still better at it than Luna."

"I'll keep my mouth shut," Bob volunteered quickly.

Ack - two and a half years... Have another teaser:

Rin-Rin sighed in relief. "So your fantasy ..."

"... was just a fantasy, nothing more. Although if you want to stay here, I'd be happy to give you a suite and a lab until you grow up, and a job with Sora and Kohran when you're ready to start your career. No strings attached."

This better not be an April Fools Prank...

Yay! I hope this means the actual chapter is in the near future.

Not a prank, but not "near", either. Work is progressing... slowly. Cobalt and Bob have given me some excellent scenes (one of which will be near the start of the chapter, because it's a recap), and a few other folks have contributed sections that can be incorporated into scenes. I have to put those together, advance the plot, and tell the main story ...

Oh, concrit! I believe Lisa asking Luna (the Ravenclaw) to take care of Luna (the cat) is the first time the latter comes up, which is incredibly jarring. Unless the Girls made the cat up on the spot, or you're trying to help us get into Noah's overwork-addled mind, a little warning would be nice

It's the latter - Noah is incredibly overworked at this point in the Boskone War. He's running a business, was co-running a war until very recently (and fighting Haruhi every step of the way here), and suddenly has over a dozen people from other realities show up on his doorstep; he's not firing on all thrusters.

So, yes, it's intentional. There'll be another scene to this effect in chapter 4...
