[META] If somebody's looking for something to write about...

Everybody knows that the CNSA won't do business with Fen who do business with the NSPO, in accordance with the One-China policy. That's about all I can get for those.

And we've already established that the PRC doesn't like the Fen... so the CNSA article should describe how both sides stay out of each other's way.

I could easily see relations between the Fen and the CNSA taking on Cold War-ish aspects - they don't like each other, but given that most of the property is already occupied by the 'Yanks', they got no choice but to deal with each other - if only to make sure that there's no traffic snarls in orbit.

Let's see how long it takes BA to find the new image I think he wanted.

(Hint: it's linked from http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... oughriders]one of these pages.)

Just FYI, this came down the pike from our Action Sysadmin:

Quote:We'll be conducting some major maintenance during the evening of Saturday, February 26th and the morning of Sunday, February 27th. In addition to applying routine system updates, we'll be upgrading our main server to brand new hardware and changing its virtualization system from Citrix to VMware, which provides better stability and support for the software that we use.

The maintenance will begin at 10:00 PM U.S. Eastern time on Saturday, and should end by 8:00 AM on Sunday. Most services, including e-mail and Web sites, will not be affected until several hours into this window. As always, we'll do our best to keep downtime to a minimum.

This upgrade will improve our performance, capacity, and - most importantly - stability. Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience and thanks for your patience. As always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me.

If anything goes wrong with the wiki during that timeframe, that's why.

And thanks for the heads up, Mal. Gonna be getting a new mobile internet service soon and it'd be nice to know that it's not my new connection.

I've made a few small changes to a few Fenwiki pages (including a better http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... nity_I.png]image of Serenity I) over today... and added a couple of paragraphs to the http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?titl ... tart_Guide]Quick Start Guide. I still need to add http://drunkardswalkforums.yuku.com/top ... ce-stories]people's suggestions to that page.

Just did a sweep of the FenWiki for pages and files without categories, and added categories where necessary (except to three files, which I'm still considering how to categorize).

I also created a mess of stub pages, to get the list of wanted pages down to a manageable size. Most of these were character pages, but I did throw together a half-assed page for Hogsmeade that somebody else gets to turn into a real article.

(And now I'm going to log off an go read a book. G'night, all; see you tomorrow.)
