To be fair, Gainax does have a few Misato and Maya items as well... it's just that they're outnumbered by the Pilots *shrug*

Heh.  If you look at my TV Picture, on the right hand side, you'll see two Misato figures (they're to our left of the Alicia figure).  The one in the back, in black, has her jumpsuit open to her navel.
We picked that one up because there was a strange pictogram that we couldn't decipher.  Her breasts and chest are made out of a polyskin material.  It made my brain hurt.  Thank you, Japan.

Back to the virtual 3D... I know it would be cheating, but http://www.sharecg.com/v/51428/browse/1 ... lying-boat]this model with a wood-grain texture might serve for the http://www.fenspace.net/index.php5?title=Maple_Mallard]Maple Mallard.

Edit: Oh, and I give even odds that somebody in Fenspace cosplays in http://www.sharecg.com/v/51427/browse/1 ... to-A4-v1.3]this outfit... but who?

Vulpine Fury was Commissioned by Crypton Media to create telepresences for the MikuMiku concert series. He went a little overboard and included the other Vocaloids as well, or at least the fan interpretations of them...

I'm thinking she's pretty darn close to StellviaCorp's vice-president, so I've added her to the order. I can use the V4 bodysuit and a cheerleader's skirt to fake a Senshi uniform, Karlin comes with a selection of eye colours, and I've got morphing glasses... but Yayoi's hairdo isn't in my collection yet. Anybody know of anything at all close? (http://www.fenspace.net/images/f/f3/Yayoi_Fujisawa.jpg]reference photo of figure) If not, I'll just have to say she changed her 'do, but that's cheating.
Still looking for Yayoi's hairdo. http://forum.daz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t= ... sc&start=0]Found this thread, which might help.

http://www.renderosity.com/mod/freestuf ... m_id=64063]This hairdo isn't it. But I might end up using this anyway, if I can't find something closer.

Stuff, stuff, and more stuff.

Remember those EVA http://freelancecomics.blogspot.com/201 ... loads.html]plugsuits? The original modeler posted the list of hairdos he used:
Mesi for All time: Ayanmi.
Alrishas hair: Asuka.
Aiko Long Hair: Makinami.

Great, just great - http://kadiusdar.deviantart.com/art/Lun ... -209879252]now I've got to get the Millennium Cat. At least I've got a Platinum Club voucher coming this week.

(From the screenshot, it looks like KadiusDar can't do a convincing fur texture either – it's not just us.)

Yep.  He posted that a while ago.  That's why I actually had Alrisha's hair.

Still not real cat-fur, but we might get some hints by inspecting the textures included with http://www.sharecg.com/v/51972/browse/1 ... o-Von-Bear]this stuffed bear. (Besides, it's a cute bear. I'm deciding right now that Helen has one.)

In the ongoing search for decent fur, I have discovered (or, rather, had pointed out to me in the DAZ June Render Challenge) the http://www.sharecg.com/v/36638/View/6/T ... z%7CStudio]Fuzzy Wuzzy Fur Shader texture set over on ShareCG. Downloading it as I type...

Rob, neither of those links work for me. The first redirects to a login page, the second does some recursive loop thing and ends up at about:blank.

The first one (an AT-AT) is on Renderosity, which requires one to be logged in before one can see the freebies.

The second one... would work better if it actually had the link specified. Sorry about that - it should be fixed now.

Just as a point of information, Rob, none of the houses in the real neighborhood on which the GC is based look like that -- they're rather more modern and suburban looking, actually. (Just spaced very widely from each other.) However, the barn isn't far off.

New, just in time for the Great Age of Exploration: I know "they did it on Voyager" is no excuse for anything, but http://www.sharecg.com/v/52598/browse/1 ... -(Voyager)]they did this on Voyager, and it made sense.
