Overall, it looks nifty. But when that airship came into view in the beginning, my only thought was, "Ooooh, that's beautiful!"

So, you want to know what the first-world Danelaw thinks the Blue Blazers do?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Technisches_Hilfswerk

(Other parts of the Really Real World, and most of Fenspace, know that they do all that and so much more...)

EDIT: Speaking of... something to mine for ideas - the tech base is rather different, so it can't be used as-is.

I believe the THW isn't involved in promoting literacy, which the Blue Blazers definitely are.

Feh. It's raining iron on Luhman. I can only begin to imagine the umbrella needed for that place.

If that's supposed to be an analog of how the Danelaw uses handwavium, then one wonders why Fenspace hasn't taken over the USA.

It doesn't want to. It would be too much like work.

Carbon! The most overachieving element known to man!
To quote someone on the Spacebattles forums

Quote:*sigh* Carbon... Please. Stop. We care about you. You can't
just decide you're going to do everything all the time better than
anyone else; it's not healthy, and it's running you down.

Seriously man, you're trying to muscle in on just about everybody's job, as well as applying for jobs that don't even exist yet. Please. Get some help. I have some numbers of people that could help, if you'd like them. No? Okay, maybe later.

Quote:I swear, carbon's going to turn out to be the secret to FTL travel at this rate.
So Handwavium is what happens when carbon ascends to a high plane of existence?

No, no - handwavium wants to be carbon. That's why it's sucking up to the carbon-based lifeforms, giving them what they want.
