Arc #42935: A Series of Unfortunate Malfunctions
Arc #42935: A Series of Unfortunate Malfunctions
#1
Arc Name: A Series of Unfortunate Malfunctions

Arc ID: 42935

Morality: Heroic

Creator: @Sofaspud

Difficulty Level: Moderate - Difficult

Synopsis: Perhaps it's not the smartest idea to work on new robot designs under the influence of caffeine, sugar, and all-too-little
sleep. And the worst part? Crey's tech support just plain sucks.

Estimated Time to Play: 20 minutes -- 1 mission, small map

Notes: I'll let the mission tell its own story (it does have one), but I'll note now that it is an unintentional but very
effective KILLER. I've toned it down a bit based on feedback. Credit to Ops for the title, which I suspect is the main reason it's catching
attention.

I canNOT string the word 'fuck' together enough times to correctly describe this mission.

Robots, eh? Let's see if C8 can take them down.

EDIT# 1: HOLY CHRIST ON A POGO STICK. Something that makes Cyberman 8 pop Elude right from the start!

EDIT #2: Okay. No need to panic. Just make SURE and take DOWN the Masterminds FIRST before they can start debuffing.

EDIT #3: Okay. Radmatron Prime... This... could get ugly....

EDIT #4: WHEW... Took him down without dying. But Katy got taken out, and then it was me, all alone against Rad and the OTHER Character throwing radiation
(the Mastermind). It took about half my inspirations and most of my Tier 9 Elude time, but I got it done.

I shudder to think what that would have been like as an AV though.

oh god this was brutal.

There are the Bot/Rad MMs

and the tankbots made of pain and stuns that self-rez

and something that sucked my end like a slurpe

EVIL SPUD!

(goes off to try it with Clank)

ETA: Clank find Katie's robots... adequate

Only died twice, once to my own stupidity, and once cause the bot nuked and I had the dumb luck to be standing next to it.

Brutal was indeed the word for it, really really brutal. And in the middle of that brutality was Radmatron's babbling, which nearly got me killed once when
I stopped to laugh.

I'll give ya this Spud, you made Emet drop both Geas and Eye accolades on that map (No deaths though), and I learned -not- to drop rooted after getting
end-drained to togglelessness. As an AV Radmatron was able to heal the bosses and I couldn't have taken the lot down with out the double Rads from the Fly
and Decay. Not quite as brutal as Zillem's Arachnotron, but that's only because there wasn't any Psi damage.
