Further Silicon Tweaks
Further Silicon Tweaks
#1
So, as my continuing play experience with Silicon plays out, I continue to notice what does and doesn't get used. And thus, I'm looking at another
respec, based around making her durability even moreso, and extending her utility to the team itself.

This is the current build I've got:

Extended set bonus is available upon request, but since most of you have Mids ANYWAY, I felt too lazy to edit out all the [color] tags that never work anyway.
If anyone knows how to get those to work properly, I'd be very happy to find out how.

Anyway. General objectives:

- Purple suggestions are welcome, but I don't really have the cash flow/desire to pimp Sylia out that much, so non-purple suggestions are more likely to be
taken.

- Fighting/Leadership pools. I have no idea how these are for end consumption or how they should be slotted. Hence the generic IOs in them(except for one LotG
recharge booster I picked up off Spud in Maneuvers. Graci, Spud!)

- I'm pretty happy with my slotting from the primary and secondary sets. Pools are really what I'm looking for advice on slotting, or if slotting them
is exceptionally necessary (Ex: Boxing)

Tough - the full Steadfast Protection set trades 4.6% s/l resist for 3% Defense (All), as well as some minor end-profile improvement. oh yeah, KB resist, too.
expensive.

Weave - LOTG 7.5%, LOTG Def, LOTG Def/End. 7.5% rech, minor end profile improvement. VERY expensive.

Boxing - Crushing Impact 5-slot. MOAR RECH. MOAR ACC. Lose a slot from Tough Hide and stuff it in here to complete the set for some delicious psi resist, too.

damn fine build you have there.

Interesting note for those curious that came up while putting this together: the hard numbers trade-off for Geass of the Kind Ones.

With this build, Sylia has a default defense to all damage types of 23.1% and 20.1 Psi defense. She also has a default 177% Recovery.

Turn Geas ON, and Defense to all damage types is dropped to 13.1%(10.1% Psi), and Recovery SKYROCKETS to 977%

Her recharge rate also jumps from 32.5% to 132.5%, and her To Hit bonus goes up from 2.8% to 27.8%.

Essentially, you get a global 10% reduction in defense, but a 800% recovery, 100% recharge, and 25% To Hit bonus whenever you pop Geas

....Which you could have found by reading the in-game info on Geas. ^_^

Looks like a pretty tight build to me. Nothing much I could say to add or do.
