Goggle removing conservative websites from it's search
Goggle removing conservative websites from it's search

This is the Political half of a thread started in general discussion.
I've noticed myself that other search engines turn up more conservative sites than goggle.
I started weaning myself from Goggle when they caved to the chinese government and started to use Yahoo, but then yahoo caved to the Chinese so now I"m looking for another full time search engine.

As I mentioned in the GC thread, I've heard that it's not all as obvious as we think. At least part of the culprit is comment-spam with links to porn/etc websites that causes Google's automatic filter to depreciate the search result.--

I hadn't thought much about deliberately using the comment post option on a site to try and set off the hate or porn filters on the Goggle search engine, but it just makes my point on the GC post even better.
My main point on the GC post was that you can't really have untouchable filters on a internet search engine if you want it to produce reliable and trust worthy results.
As your example has shown these untouchable filters could allow a third party to control Goggles search engine, but it also creates searches that produce flawed results..
There may be more to it than a third party attack.
The newsfeed is also dropping conservative sites and I was hoping Goggle's programmers hadn't been dumb enough to try and put filters on that news text feed.
The News media has to be able to talk about many subjects in order to give any chance an an unbiased announcing of the news.
if you set up a filter to remove such things as Nazi Hate speeches then you also remove any reporting that deals with Nazi Hate speechs..
Same goes for any other word or group of words such a filter would filter out.
