Gamma Emission: Lisa is a registered nurse with a specialization in human trauma care, and as such can do a fair amount of good on the scene. But she won't hesitate to slap a hospital teleport tag on someone if she is in over her head. She was working towards her CNS (clinical nurse specialists) when she gained her powers. Since gaining her powers she has picked up the equivalent of bachelors degree in particle physics in an effort to understand her powers. She also has a basic grasp of how radiation and magic interact (complicated and badly). Strangely enough Lisa has no desire to study the effects of high energy physics on biology, as she doesn't want to know what her own body is somehow ignoring nor what she ends up doing to a large number of enemies that cross her path. Knowing what helps, what hurts, what's permanent, and what's not is enough for her conscience. Since the manifestation of her powers she has formed close friendships with several hospital staff in the radiology department, and they act as her support group and troubleshooters when things happen that she doesn't understand (the fact that several of them are making their doctoral thesis's around aspects of her abilities doesn't hurt). Her cooking abilities are limited to things that she can boil, and she has been known to cary microwavable food to prepare on the spot. Lisa's hobbies include meditation, rock climbing, and attempting transmutation on everyday objects.

Cyberman 8: Peter Brady was an accomplished police detective before his death, and retains those skills and instincts
as Cyberman 8. While not a supergenius, his positronic brain now allows him to sift through mountains of information and intuit connections between pieces of
data to come to a conclusion in a fraction of the time of a normal human.

He is quietly fascinated with the way the world has changed since he last saw it. Personal computers are something completely new to him, but he takes some
amused pride in the fact that he is uniquely suited to learn about them! Since his recovery in 2006 from the wreckage of a supervillain lair in Faultline and
upgrades, he has had datajack ports built in for interfacing with various types of computer systems. While in "cyberspace" he can assume the guise of
his android form or generate a virtual human body. He's quickly learned how to use the internet to research data, always ready to keep the lesson of
catching Al Capone in mind. As he paraphrases it - "Follow the money, follow the women. And don't be afraid to let the IRS do half your job for you,
if that's what it takes."

His senses are also highly acute. He can hear sounds at both lower and higher frequency ranges than humans. His sight is more acute as well, with both
telescopic and microscopic functions. As well as the ability to see in the infrared and ultraviolet spectrum.

Although not formally trained, Cyberman 8 can remember what he sees with photographic accuracy if he wishes. He has practiced and incorporated several moves
and attacks from heroes he has worked with and villains he has fought into his own style of fighting. One of these is a vibratory technique called "Hertza
Haeon" which if performed correctly, will stun even the most powerful of beings momentarily.

In combat, he is highly mobile, switching from one opponent to the next quickly, keeping them off-balance and disoriented as much as possible. In teams,
he'll keep an eye out for those playing the support role and come to their aid if they are pressed. Otherwise, he'll pick out the greatest overall
threat and engage it head on, trusting to his speed and reflexes to keep him safe.

Hn. Must have missed this thread the first time it came around.

Reyshal might be a newcomer to this dimension, but in the two years she's been here, she's picked up a great deal of knowledge, scattered by her interests it may be. Despite her magical abilities, she is a competent mechanic, having overseen repairs and upgrades to her skyship in her home dimension, she also keeps a close watch on the doings of Portal Corp. and other groups with dimension spanning capability in an effort to return to her home. Being herself a competent singer, and capable of programing her singularities with different instruments and songs, she occasionally performs at the Legendary Base, or at the amphitheater in Perez during talent shows there. Again, coming from a society steeped in sound and song, she is capable of discerning many sounds in ranges moderately beyond human. Her familiarity with gravitaics gives her an advanced perception range, with which she can memorize a person or object's 'Song Pattern' (Her words for a person's precise gravity signature), and then find that signature at a later time at some miles difference. This also allows her to perceive invisible creatures such as Alistair at closer ranges.

Brahela (Elizabeth Burke Jr.) is a different kettle of fish, being one of those few magical beings native to Paragon-Earth that is not descended from the Mu. As her power comes from being the 'Avatar' of Innocence (At least, as far as MAGI can determine), she has a sixth sense when it comes to locating those who are more 'innocent' than others around them (Something that annoys others greatly when she asks them why they hate hunting for hostages in Oranbega). While currently enrolled in Paragon University, she has cut back on her classes lately to help out more with the Legendary's operations. While adept at runes and seals, she suffers from only having an average familiarity with mechanics and computers. For those she turns to...

Her mother, E'liya, (Elizabeth Burke Sr.) is a Sec. Lv. 50 'Retired' Hero. Having done her time and earned her peace, she has since retired back to the shadowed dimension where she first gained her powers. Being concerned mainly with training her student Xyn'el, she only occasionally looks in on Paragon-Earth, although this limited attention broadened quite a bit when she found her daughter again. She now stays up-to-date with most public affairs of the world and Paragon, she has even forgiven Portal Corp enough to begin collaborating with them once more. Being one of the few individuals with access to a Portal setup, she has relative freedom in dimension hopping, and shares this privilege with a select few. Being intimately familiar with the workings of Portals, and possessing a wide scientific background, she is known among her select circle of confidantes as the one to go to for answers to such questions.

Myr'tai is a true Tanar'ii from deep in the Abyss, but surprisingly, her magical knowledge is slim. Created to siphon souls to her unknown master, she was sent to the Rogue Isles with barely more than the local language and general background, she decided to take up an unusual path to her master's goal. She is now one of the many engineers on the Isles with a cadre of robot guardians, and has traded favors with many of them to increase her knowledge of all things tech. She has even gone as far as augmenting her own body's poisons to make them more effective, although they still lack lethal power.

Evangelia probably thinks she's just being admirably discreet and dedicated to keeping her hero and civilian IDs separate; Raye can
certainly understand and empathize with that desire.

Sad thing is... that's not the case. Katy is awesome when it comes to tech, not so much when it comes to people. She *might* recognize Space Mage, if
Adrianne forgot to disguise the ears. And introduced herself. As for Raye, well, I was going with the whole magical girl cliche that, somehow, nobody
recognizes her
when she's out of costume, no matter how blatantly obvious it is. [Image: smile.gif]

And, uh, when it comes to magic, Katy's about a susceptible as they come, so the effect would probably be fairly pronounced.

Raye: Hi Katy!

Katy: Oh, hi! Raye, right? I think we share a Physics class...

Raye: Uh oh, an attack! *poofs into Evangelia*

Katy: Eva! How'd you get here so quick?!
(Maybe not THAT bad, but you get the idea. [Image: smile.gif])

Oh yeah, I wasn't suggesting what Katy thought -- just that Eva/Raye might not twig onto what's really going on with her.

And yes, there's a glamour thing going on with Raye's magical girl transformation (one of which I should try to hack together using macros one of these
days).
