Teleport Keybinding
Teleport Keybinding
#1
As per Spud's request, here is how you can set up Teleport for a rapid action activation.

If you have a 3 button Mouse (Left, Right, and Middle/Mousewheel), the command to use is as follows:

/bind MButton pow_exec_name Teleport

This set up is rather quick to uses given that the both activation button ( Middle mouse ) and execution button ( Left mouse ) are near by. However, this does
overwrite the middle mouse button as the default key for 'Rotate Camera' so you will need another key for that. You can find that option in the
Keybinds section of Options.

Another popular command for people without 3 button mice (or those not willing/able to use the middle button) you can use this command:

/bind LShift+LButton pow_exec_name Teleport

This way, to activate Teleport, you hold down the Left shift key and then click the Left mouse, then release the left shift and then use the left mouse to go.

Ooh, thanks Ankh!

I will probably use the LSHIFT route, because I'm nigh-constantly fiddling with the camera. [Image: smile.gif] Now I just need to slot some more End Reduction into
Teleport, and maybe a range boost or two, so I can make it across a zone without having to resort to the flight pack...

Edit:

Okay, I just had a wild thought. I wonder if I can set, via a macro or bind, the Teleport power to Autofire. If so, then I should be able to set up a bind
that turns on TPort+Autofire, then simply use the left mouse to zapzapzap my way around town (1 click each), then hit the bind again to turn OFF Teleport...

Must! Experiment! Tonight!

Just as a note, 'Rotate Camera' is different from 'Mouselook'. Rotate camera does exactly that, you can change your YPR orientation of the
camera with out moving the character (Except in flight where pitch directs), where as Mouselook orients your character inline with the camera.

As for End Reds and Range, with Stamina you can really go places, and slots are a precious commodity. A range and one or two End Reds should be enough to
traverse just about anywhere, with Stamina behind it.

"powexec_auto Teleport" should set TP up as the autofire power

"powexec_auto " ie. with a blank argument - should cancel the auto-attack power. I thiiiink.

I don't know if what you propose would work, but that is the autofire command.

the lshift+click method works when you hold down the shift key as well. It's what clank uses. So you can hold down the shift key and clickclickclick to go
places.
