Want to get Leon a REAL set of armor?

Can you get to Seattle by the
29th of August? [Image: smile.gif]

Oh Shiny! *wipes at drool absently* Darn, why can't that be an unlockable in game? [Image: frown.gif]

Hmmm.

Quote:This is a permenant version of the temporary power you can earn during the Halloween event. It simply changes your appearance into that of the PPD Hardsuit.

It is not a set of player costume pieces and it required very very little time to create as the PPD Hardsuit was already made and the power to change you into it was already made for the Halloween event.

I think they could have made that more clear in their original announcement...

... I know people in Seattle.

They may well be going to PAX anyway.

First the Freak Tank, then this...oh God I so covet and want and wish I could get and, damnit, I mean, I'd totally roll up characters JUST TO USE THOSE AS PRIMARY COSTUMES.

There's something vaguely disturbing about the fact I get more excited about the ability to look exactly like an NPC than to create my own characters. =P

(though who wouldn't want a PPD hardsuit?! @_@ OR A FREAK TANK)

I don't suppose I could persuade you to get multiples for bringing this to your attention? [Image: happy.gif]

Magic 8-ball Says: Outlook Uncertain.

So, my friends in Seattle... aren't planning on going to the con. The only one I might be able to persuade to go (assuming I send him the $$$ to get in
the door) is suffering an acute case of social phobia at the moment and doesn't think he'll be up for anything. Personally, I think he just
doesn't want to bother and is just afraid to say so to my face, but whatever.

So I've got a couple more people to try... but it's not looking good. [Image: frown.gif] I know -I- won't be able to go, just because of gas costs. Bah.

Okay.

I found some folks who are going to PAX. They're willing to stop by the NCSoft booth and see what they can get. None of them are players, though, so
I'm not sure if they'll have any luck. If the NCSoft people are just handing out VIP cards like candy, they can probably score quite a few. If
they're making you sign for them, or enter the code right then and there on your account, or a dozen other things I can think of that they might well be
doing just to prevent the sort of hijinks we're attempting here... well, we may still be out of luck.

I'll keep you posted. If I do manage to score X codes/cards/whatever, I'll hand 'em out first-come first-serve in this thread. I only want 1
myself (I believe they're character-specific?), so sign up here if you want one, and hopefully we'll get enough to get everyone covered [Image: smile.gif].

Note: Ops gets dibs since he's the one who started the thread, after that it's in post order. Just 'cause I'm fickle like that. [Image: smile.gif]

(Assuming we get any, that is... *crosses fingers*)

If there are any left over, I'd like one... I have at least one or more toons that could benifit from a suit of armor like that. And being in Australia,
the chances of getting there are infinitesimally small.
