Just while in SG mode as far as I know. It's why I made a healer of my own (Sharon Kov) a while back. To help out with that.

(And also to just have a Rad/Rad, as this was also about the time when they jacked Giant Monsters and AVs to such ridiculous levels of regen that you HAD to
have a Radiation or some other form of debuff in the fight or it was not ever going to die.)
