The "new" way to write an update
The "new" way to write an update

From the first post in http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?t=82963]this thread on the SJGames forums:
Quote:for folks who like to vote with their wallet, know that a "vote" for http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=SJG37-0609]GURPS Reign of Steel: Will to Live is also a vote for more Third Edition conversions
The supplement appears to be selling well.

Bob, you might want to grab at least the free preview PDF, so you'll have an idea of the "new" format for the I.S.T. update...

Yeah, I caught this post about IST getting rebooted without aliens but was too jacked up on pain meds to try to make a responsible post or inquiry.  Glad to see you did, Rob.
I plan on picking up the conversion when I've got some money after all the billing from the hospital and getting caught up with being out of work for three weeks.

I vaguely recall that that happened in that http://e23.sjgames.com/item.html?id=SJG30-1672]little supplement that dovetails it into Infinite Worlds. I don't actually approve of that, but no one asked me. (Well, they did, but practically at the last minute before its release, and I don't recall whether I actually even realized it then.)

I have that pamphlet but doesn't really touch on anything. All it really says is "See GURPS International Super Teams for more details about this worldline."

So, not much of a reboot.

Looking at my copy of GURPS Infinite Worlds: IST, the sentence "The parallel’s inhabitants have encounters with parallel worlds, aliens, gods, spirits, demons, and all manner of other visitors" seems to heavily imply that the IST world has in fact had contact with aliens.
