Heh. Cecilia Tan is a... well, not quite a friend, but something-more-than-an-acquaintance of long standing. I wrote a story twenty-some years ago for a Circlet Press book about werewolves (I'm still on their writers' mailing list), and I've known her for even longer (mostly as "Ctan", her handle of preference for years).

And as it happens, Cecilia and Kat Avins are old friends from high school. (Which I didn't know when I first met her.)

And yeah, that article is so very Ctan.
