Thinking of doing a DW fanfic...

Quote:which means "witch" and "sorceress" are the same word in French
And that the word takes the gender of the person it describes: masculine «sorcièr», feminine «sorcière». Thanks, Bob.

But the "pronoun trouble" line is too good to leave out... I'm just going to have to have Ayerton refer to the group insted of any person in it, until the gender matter is cleared up.

Mmm... most of that is right, but I have no idea where you found Sorcièr. It might be an old spelling that's no longer used, or maybe a french (as
opposed to french canadian) but I've never seen it spelled like that.

*checks spelling with an online dictionary*

Yep, Sorcier, like I've always seen. The e suddenly becomes è when you switch gender.

Oops, did a sloppy cut-n-paste when I saw the words just differed by the feminine "-e". I never even spotted the lack of accent. My error, my
apologies.

Legend of Galactic Girls comes first. Then BSBW. (Then Weekend at Looney's. At least I passed off the ReBoot stagger to Ian...)

Heh. My Songbird and Loon chapters 1 and 2 are complete (Yuku didn't like the raw URL), and chapter 3 is almost done (a scene-and-a-half away), but life keeps getting in the way. The beginning of Chapter 4 is giving me issues as is all of chapter 5.
