New edition of V&V

From Monkey House Games, the new e-publishing house owned by Jeff Dee and Jack Herman.

http://monkeyhousegames.com/?m=201006]The press release says V&V Version 2.1 will be available June 27, from rpgnow.com . (Of course, I don't have an account at RPGNow... yet.)

Well, I've always wanted to see the system that spawned Doug...  this is on my buy list as of 5 seconds ago.

Interesting. Given that Doug was built in V&V2, this should be rather close to what I'm familiar with. I note that Monkey House is also the publisher of "Living Legends", which was (at least originally) supposed to be V&V with modern game mechanics.

Hey, come to think of it, FGU is still publishing and selling V&V materials. How did they get the rights to do this? I thought FGU owned the name and the background.

I may have to buy it just to say I have it. Damn. My first non-TSR RPG.
