Okay, I've got a little problem that's been annoyingly persistent. As the folks who went through my "Rise of the Shadow Circle" arc will recall, there was a fade-in collection item representing the placement of an unfriendly little gizmo in the villain's lair. It was located in the "end zone", which was basically just the final room -- and because completing it activated a destroyable object, the players could actually see the destroyable object spawn, along with its guards.
The problem here (other than the aesthetic one) is that I didn't set the collection item's location to "back" -- I set it to "middle". But it insists on spawning in the end room. Setting it to "front" makes it appear in the front, no problem. And with the right map I might well do that if I can find no better solution. That, or set it to random, but that would be a less satisfactory solution. Oh, and I've made sure I don't have too many other things located in the middle zone, which I suspect would bump it to one of the other zones.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone's seen this behavior before, and if it's a bug, if anyone knows a better workaround than the ones I've come up with on my own.
Thanks.

Theres something that has been sitting in the back of my brain in regards to AE and new content for CoH. I've noticed time and again that that once you've gone through alot of the content, it's mostly old hat and, for some, not all too interesting if you can start to memorize the missions. Also, Wouldn't folks love to see content geared towards their own characters?
In these regards, my brain thought it might be interesting to have other people write AE arcs for other player's toons. In a way, allowing a randomness for character advancement you may not find in either repeat grinding, writing your own toon's AE arcs, or just writing Fic (Not that there's anything wrong with Fiction...just sayin...)
Would anyone be interested in doing this sort of thing? Or even one or two people to test the idea and see how it works? I'm not suggesting we have folks make endless grind/farm maps or fill a map with bosses just to challenge someone. but rather, content driven stories for one shot runs geared towards specific characters. Try to help put that RPG feel back into the MMO
What do folks think?

This is actually posted on Uni's account due to the fact that while I have plenty of Architect ideas, I have finite slots, and Uni has her standard three
slots, but no ideas, so she loaned me one. Needless to say, I didn't use the in-game Outcast models to populate it.

While soloable, the two primary antagonists, Keystone and Frostie himself, may prove problematic to solo players not ready for them. And anyone that wants to
try it on 8 Man Unyielding may hate me later. :lol

(I could not quite reach the appall Thibor height I aspired to, but enjoy it anyway)

There are times for keeping your game face firmly fixed. When others were looking to you for leadership, you could not let it slip. You had to maintain the
aura of calm, focused control, and by doing so, let it pass like an infection to those around you. When the world around you was descending into utter bat-shit
madness, to the point where the appearance of the Cheshire Cat, Queen of Hearts and Hookah smoking caterpillar would signify a turn towards the comfortably
normal, you had to keep your game face on.

Thibor has a carefully trained game face. Anyone who had spent any time with dogs knew how difficult it was for the canine, or in his case, lupine, face to
conceal emotion. Doggie expressions were so obvious.; happy dog, unhappy dog, sick dog and of course Irish setter. His team looked to him. His team needed him
to be the solid rock on which they would build their attack.

Even now, they were arranged behind him. Waiting for the word.

He has seen the enemies. His team had seen the enemies. He turned to his team.

His game face faltered. Then gave way. The look of shocked horror matching those around him.

As one they turned and fled, tumbling through the portal and back into the bustling Architect Enterprise lobby.

Thibor let loose a long and profane burst of Romani; the incredibly descriptive and anatomically unlikely phrases were a balm to his battered psyche. He felt
cleaner for it.

"Okay." Thibor rasped. "Is never, ever, running one of Jackie's custom missions ever again. Agreed?"

It was unanimous.

Ok, here we go Its a villain themed arc, so if the story doesn't make sense since you are a pansy hero - tough

I'm not sure how the last mission will scale with a large team, as I didn't have a chance to test it as such.

Enjoy everyone =D

To those whos characters I borrowed - please let me know if I should reword their text
There is no coincidence, only necessity....

To be brutally honest, this is a set of Levelling/chaos maps.

Mission one is a copy of Terr's infamous "BP World:" Graveyard Map, LOTS of BP

Mission two is an outdoor city map Chock Full of high-level 5th Column.

Both maps are set up on the 45+ paradigm. So, a "bare" lowbie is up against the Purple patch and gets mad xps/tix/inf if there's a 50 in the
team.

These may be difficult or Just plain easy depending on build and difficulty solo. I was fortunate enough to get an 8-man team runthrough after publishing it.
The major complaints, other than common "Story? What Story?" were mainly about the length of the maps.

I'm open for suggestions for "Case Files" to expand on for the "frame" story.

Existing casefiles include "Terrence Knight's Wanderings" and "Place Kicker's Memoirs."
''We don't just borrow words; on occasion, English has pursued other languages down alleyways to beat
them unconscious and rifle their pockets for new vocabulary.''
