Well I certainly can't let that stand!

Just... that face. That flat, "I'm not even angry, just disappointed" face.

Always a favorite.  I thought we had our own much longer copy here, but all I can find is our City of Heroes/City of Villains version.
In June of 2011, it seems, I pulled a version of the "Two Cows" off the 'Net.  The first couple are pretty close to what Ms. Landers offered, but then...

Quote:You Have 2 Cows
Socialism - you give one to a neighbor
Communism - the State takes both and gives you some milk
Fascism - the State takes both and sells you some milk
Nazism - the State takes both and shoots you
Capitalism - you sell one and buy a bull; your herd multiplies and the economy grows; you sell them and retire on the income
French Capitalism - you go on strike, organize a riot and block the roads because you want 3 cows
Japanese Capitalism - you re-design them to 1/10th normal size with 20 times the milk output, you then create a clever cartoon image called 'Cowkimon' and market it
German Capitalism - you re-engineer them to live 100 years, eat once a month and milk themselves
Italian Capitalism - you don't know where they are; you decide to have lunch
British Capitalism - they are crazy; you try to sell them to Europe
New Zealand Capitalism - the one on the left is looking pretty sexy
Australian Capitalism - business is good; you close the office to go have some beers
Canadian Capitalism - the bank takes both, shoots one, throws away the milk; you shoot yourself
Anarchism - the cows decide you have no right to do anything with their milk and leave to form their own society
Talibanism - they must wear burkas and are shot for being Hindu religious symbols

I've also got a hard-copy version somewhere around my place; it was a touch more right-wing-propagandist than my usual taste, but still had some humorous variations that the above doesn't include.  If I find it again within the next two days, I'll probably post it here.

Source.

Spot the logic flaw in the mouseover text: "Other pollsters complain about declining response rates, but our poll showed that 96% of respondents would be 'somewhat likely' or 'very likely' to agree to answer a series of questions for a survey."

That's giving it away to Biden, though - the antipresident always uses assertive statements because asking questions is showing weakness. There's getting rid of the shithead by any means necessary, and then there's just being cruel for sport.
When is Trump not being cruel for sport?

They're gonna jump anyway. The aim is to just keep shuffling forward so they can't point the finger at you as the one who stepped off the plank in the first place.

It occurrs to me that this is the only reason Europe is still 'negotiating' even long after it is clear the British will lie and ignore any agreement they make the moment the agreement makes any demand of them.

So they can never, ever, blame the EU for stepping off the plank and letting them fall. They will always be the ones who took that last step themselves. Because by then, it's either a matter of step-off, or be humiliated by asking for concessions.

I'm feeling bitter and vindictive about this.

And a little schadenfreudey.
There is also that the EU is well aware that if they walk towards the UK's quite frankly ill advised at best positions the EU will suffer far more than if they try to drag the UK back to a sensible position.
