[another disturbingly simple and well made idea from 4chan]
1835
American satirist and writer Mark Twain was born on November 30, 1835, exactly two weeks after the comet's perihelion. In his biography, he said, "I came in with Halley's comet in 1835. It's coming again next year (1910), and I expect to go out with it. The Almighty has said no doubt, 'Now here are these two unaccountable freaks; they came in together, they must go out together.' " Twain died on April 21, 1910, the day following the comet's subsequent perihelion
# November 25 - Andrew Carnegie, American industrialist and philanthropist (d. 1919)
# November 29 - Empress Dowager Cixi of China (d. 1908 )
# November 30 - Mark Twain, American author and humorist (d. 1910)
-Wikipedia

Every 70 years Haley's passes over the Earth. By 1835 mankind had developed with enough subtle mutations from the radiation that the full force of it's influence could begin. Everyone born under the comet's passing, including the three above as famous examples, would grow into adulthood only to discover amazing superhuman abilities. They would be the generation that shaped the world, until the comet's return in 1910, depowering those of them left alive and setting up the next generation of great individuals in the process.

  Facets Costume Revision Ideas

I present, Shin Seiki Yoroiden Mahou Shoujo REKKA NO INEZ! ^.^
[Image: Inezmark2.png]
So... required bits would be jeweled tiara, Enforcer breastplate, jeweled belt; some kind of skirt and some kind of shoulderpads; everything else up to the player.
Second costume slot, civvies; third slot, a unified-theme "heavier armor" thing with Enforcer tights all over, maybe even the heavy gloves and boots, and tech wings (I'll run a demo on that look in a bit); fourth slot, the hyper glowing power avatar form; fifth... dunno really.
Comments, thoughts, crushing rejections?

ETA: Prototyping the Heavy Armor look...
ETA again: based on Acyl's suggestions, here's a revised prototype.
Light Enforcer armor and Jester shortnose standard. The veil is Inez's trademark, and the leather skirt would allow for individualized print (such as the flames) while keeping the Enforcer color scheme on the armor.

Fic-bunny inspired by misspelled shopping list.

Today, my father gave me a shopping list, on which he misspelled "raisin bran" as "Riase Brand."
This set me to thinking of the sort of world where such a thing would be said:
Slayers-like fantasy setting, anyone?

The Lakota tribes have withdrawn from the treaties signed with the United States. Details can be found here. I'm wondering how the government's going to fuck this one up.Ebony the Black Dragon

Oh dear. My romie bought this a few weeks ago, and I managed not to be sucked in because... well, he was playing it.
Non-stop.
So I just figured I'd wait until he was done. Which he now is.
Oh. My. God. This game freakin' rocks.
See - I'm an old school Sci-Fi space Opera fan, who still loves his hard science and physics consistency. I loved GDW's TRAVELLER series of games. Have a big collection of the GDW and Digest Group stuff. Plus some of the SJG stuff.
This is like a Traveller game brought to life, and I am SO digging on it!
Problem - it -might- cut into my time for other things, like, oh, City of Heroes, World of Warcraft, eating, sleeping...
Yeah. I'm doomed.-Logan
