Ed Beccerra? It looks like his ideal sort of workspace.

Indeed! Is that really Ed's workspace? If not, who is laying claim?

- robkelk - 01-31-2011

I doubt it's Ed from Cowboy Bebop...

Is that a.... bazooka?

Where? That looks like a .308 sniper rifle at the top and a possible 30mm machine gun off to the far right, but I see no LAWs, bazookas, or other shoulder-mounted tube launchers.

Behind the 30mm machine gun (I would have tagged it a recoilless rifle, but I'm not sure), between it and the... whatever the hell that is with the drum mag.  Looks like a LAW to me.

Bottom right, between the M2 and the MG42, and just infront of the minigun.

Yeah, I see it now. Definitely a tube launcher of some sort. And Spud's probably right; that looks more like a recoilless rifle than a machine gun, now that I look at the body.

- Sofaspud - 02-01-2011

Whatever it is, it's a big honkin' gun.
That aside, is it sad of me that the single thing I find most impressive in that photo, the one thing I want the most out of all of the items on display there...
... is that dude's desk?
I mean, look at that thing!  It's holding game systems, two full TV's as monitors, I don't know how many laptops, a regular computer, multiple disc players probably covering every known format, and more!  And it's all secure and organized and within reach of the operator.
WANT.  DESK.

The lightsabre is a nice touch.

And you notice how it's the only thing locked away?  Not sure if that would be a statement on its value or its danger potential, but...

- Rod.H - 02-01-2011

Ayep, I sure did mean Ed Beccerra.

Most replica lightsabers do tend to come with their own display case. I've a feeling that most of those guns are airsoft or replicas. The Ma Duce and the MG42 are definitively replicas for sure. Yahoo Japan is the tell.

As for gear, I count 4 laptops, a iPad, a PS2, PS3, blu-ray player, a DVR, possibly a laserdisk, a Wii, 3 trackballs, 5 sets of headphones with amps for three, iphone?, ipod touch?, a stapler, and dog knows what else in the desk clutter.

- Jinx999 - 02-01-2011

Yeah, M2 machine gun, .50 sniper rifle and that funky SMG they used in Stargate?
My guess is replicas - that as a real collection would be too much for any US state.

- Evil Midnight Lurker - 02-01-2011

I'd never given much thought to what Ed's workplace would look like... but this doesn't surprise me one bit. ^.^

H&K P.90. And you're probably correct.

It's Fabrique Nationale, not H&K. Belgian, not German.

Silly yanks! The home delivery fee would've been less than all the legal trouble you're gonna cop if you mess up. And they will.

Clearly that storm was so strong, it blew Queensland all the way to Tasmania. Tasmania was relocated to Munchkinland.

Clearly the newest addition to the Legion of Super-Pets. Comet needed a counterpart; he was jealous of Krypto and Ace.
