My first thought at seeing the last on was: 'Is that some sort or alarm clock?'

Yeah. When it goes off, you die.

I concur. I feel the same way about mounting televisions on the ceiling above a bed. I don't trust the tensile strength of drywall and plywood studs that much.

When I was stationed at REDCOM 11, located at NAS Dallas, someone had a car painted like the one "from" the Kitty Hawk.  It even had the fuel tank and door handles correctly labled (fuel and rescue)

Can't link directly to the pics for some reason. I can get to the main page, but whenever I try to go directly to the picture in question I get some warning about security.

I bet that last is a SCRAM switch of some kind: "Press in case of imminent Armageddon" to drop all control rods fully into the reactor core, cut power and trigger a Halon dump in the server room, or some other expensive but disaster-averting sequence of events. Still, to label it "Armageddon" instead of "Fire" or "Meltdown" or just "Emergency" takes a certain sense of humour.

And waaay upthread, that's no spaghetti monster, that's the Internet!

A little bit ago we had a good one on my ship. Drew a picture of the ship's barber going to town on a velociraptor, blooded clippers and all, with a legend that read:

BARBER SHOP CLOSED DUE TO VELOCIRAPTOR

I'll try and get a picture of it sometime.
