Rei has Shinto magic even while attending Catholic school.

Methodist, actually. But for all that we see of the school in canon, there isn't much difference there.

(Free fanfic idea: All of the secondary students in Crystal Japan attend one normal-sized boarding school, and get sorted into houses based on which sailor senshi they like the best.)

So, Jupiter's house is Gryffindor, Mercury's is Ravenclaw, Mars' is Hufflepuff, and... (er... no, wait, leadership and resourcefulness are core values here, just be careful of focus shift...) Venus' is Slytherin. <g> (Or, if you go by elemental affinities listed in supplementary materials, Mars' is Gryffindor, Venus' is Ravenclaw, Jupiter's is Hufflepuff, and Mercury's is Slytherin. Doing these mappings is a mug's game... but it's a mug's game that we chose to play when we made our story a massive crossover.)
